Bio

Adam Park joins Softdocs from Liaison International, one of the largest education technology companies that provides enrollment and admissions solutions to thousands of universities. At Liaison, Adam helped define and structure their go-to Market functions, including the integration of sales teams across the different Liaison businesses and the implementation of sales and sales management processes across the company. Adam came to Liaison through their acquisition of TargetX, where Adam was the Chief Revenue Officer.

In all, Adam has over 20 years of leadership experience at education companies, with experience across multiple functions including sales, services, and operations. One of his proudest professional achievements was helping to launch Beyond 12, a national nonprofit organization that helps thousands of underserved students succeed in college. Today, Beyond 12 is recognized as one of the highest performing social impact organizations in the country.

Bio

As senior vice president of product, engineering, and client services, Steve Johnston provides leadership for Softdocs’ product, engineering, cloud, client success, professional services, and support teams. In this role, Steve optimizes Softdocs’ efforts to provide highly adaptable, valuable, and cost-effective products and services that lead to ideal client outcomes.

Steve is responsible for ensuring that the Softdocs’ teams provide highly responsive and efficient world-class services and support, while the product and cloud offerings are best-in-breed offerings that secure customer data and accelerate customer success with Softdocs.

Steve has more than 20 years of experience leading a variety of services, support, cloud, and client success teams for technology companies.

Andrea Link

Bio

As the vice president of product and engineering, Andrea Link strives to achieve Softdocs' mission to eliminate technology barriers so schools can transform student lives. She is a passionate advocate for building products that customers love to use, which requires a team of innovators and critical thinkers who understand and empathize with product users. The result is intuitive, modern, scalable products. By adapting agile processes through feedback and metrics, Andrea champions transparency, alignment, and empowerment across the organization.

Andrea has more than a decade of higher education experience, most notably serving the last eleven years at DIGARC, a company focused on connected, integrated curriculum for higher education. She started as a product manager who conceptualized, designed, and launched DIGARC's second product, Curriculog, a curriculum process, and workflow engine, and served for nearly two years as the vice president of product development, where she built a SaaS product portfolio and a collaborative product and engineering team through scaled agile.

Andrea recharges her batteries through cooking, writing, and traveling with her husband and daughter. She especially enjoys adventures through the United States National Park System and recently completed an exhilarating climb to the summit of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. Abe Gruber

Bio

As the vice president of strategic growth and operations, Abe provides leadership for Softdocs’ marketing, revenue operations, and IT teams. Abe is passionate about education and the latest in technology, specifically about how the two intersect in a game-changing way for campuses and their missions.

Abe has nearly 20 years of experience in education, both on campus and in education technology. He joins Softdocs after six years with Liaison International via their acquisition of TargetX. At Liaison, Abe achieved record growth within new business for US and international clients while leading sales operations and serving as the chief technical architect for the sales and client success teams.

In his downtime, Abe is an avid global traveler and sociocultural anthropologist who avoids middle seats on airplanes at all costs.

Bio

As vice president of employee success, Christie Williams brings a strategic, people-first, approach to the growth and success of our team. Through supporting a strong corporate culture and strengthening our total benefits and rewards, Christie is continuing to drive forward Softdocs’ legacy as a best place to work.

Prior to Softdocs, Christie managed people operations and development in roles across several sectors, including tech startups, entrepreneurial communities, and even wastewater treatment! Christie enjoys digging into data and trends to find the best support for the team, and develops operational processes to enable the team to perform the best work of their careers. Christie also enjoys curating inclusive communities in high-growth, high-impact organizations.

In her time away from the office, Christie enjoys relaxing with her husband and two teen daughters, as well as their three dogs. Christie is an advocate for mental and behavioral health. She’s also a strong supporter of the traditional music community. Be sure to ask her for a podcast recommendation!

As the Softdocs head of finance and controller, Andrea Robinson is responsible for all the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, financial reporting, and management of our finance teams.

Andrea brings over a decade of financial leadership and most recently served as director and controller at Caring.com, a leading online platform for connecting families with resources to care for their aging family members. Outside of her workday, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and their three dogs. She especially enjoys traveling and visiting family and friends. Andrea is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bryant University and a master’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

Amanda Short

Bio

As head of sales, Amanda Short leads Softdocs’ sales team. Amanda joins the team with diverse background comprised of marketing, retail, communications and human resources. She is responsible for helping define, shape and lead the strategic, long-term marketing direction of Softdocs.

Prior to rejoining Softdocs, Amanda has worked across multiple industries, from financial services and medical device manufacturing firms to big-box retail organizations. Her experience across these industries provides her a solid foundation to further establish Softdocs as a leader in the education technology space.

Amanda received her bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of South Carolina. In her down time, Amanda spends time with her husband, two sons and their energetic yellow lab.
