Within both higher education and K-12, there are many processes which require documents to be signed by students, parents and/or staff. In most cases, you now must be able to gain those signatures digitally, adding an additional burden to an education field that is already stretched financially and timewise.
As institutions increasingly take documents and other processes digital, it is vital they maintain compliance with the various laws and regulations surrounding the use of electronic records and signatures. This session will cover basic requirements that institutions must meet, as well as a brief introduction to how Enterprise Content Management (ECM) can cost-effectively satisfy these requirements— while also providing the efficiencies available through electronic forms and automated workflow.
