Softdocs turned 20 in 2018! And oh, how we’ve changed over the last 20 years.

Since launching our first print management device in 1998, the Softdocs team has experienced constant growth and expansion. New skills and developing capabilities have allowed us to continue to evolve our solutions from a single print management device to a complete education-focused enterprise content management platform.

Throughout those 20 years, over 600 colleges, universities and K-12 districts have chosen to trust Softdocs’ solutions and with a 99% plus customer retention rate – we have those institutions to thank for our success.

Headquartered in Columbia, Softdocs is a homegrown South Carolina business that is proud of our roots and of all those who’ve helped us become the company we are today. With that said, we’re excited to announce the founding of the Softdocs Technology Scholars Program.

The Softdocs Technology Scholars Program will award scholarships to students from South Carolina, who are pursuing degrees in technology related fields. To qualify for consideration, applicants to the Softdocs Technology Scholars Program must reside in South Carolina. Applicants must meet certain academic requirements and be accepted for admission to a US-based higher education institution with plans to pursue a degree in a technology related field.

Online applications will be accepted beginning on March 1, 2019 for the 2019-2020 academic year, and review will be limited to the first 1,000 applications received.
