Today we are highlighting one of our new customers, Montana Tech. A public university located at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Butte, Montana, Montana Tech serves around 2,800 full-time students. Previously leveraging Perceptive Nolij Web, Montana Tech knew a decision was required once the end-of-life for Nolij Web was announced.
Nolij Web provided Montana Tech with a fully browser-based platform that allowed them to eliminate paper and manual processes. As their search began for a replacement, Montana Tech wanted to ensure that they were able to leverage a system comparable to Nolij® Web. Etrieve’s fully browser-based design, education-exclusive development and services efforts, as well as integration capabilities with their ERP solution, Ellucian Banner, provided that seamless fit. Additionally, the mobile-first methodology and intuitive user interface of Etrieve, proved it to be a great investment.
Softdocs’ Vice President, Andrew Daniel says the disruption in the ECM space can be daunting for institutions, but also a great opportunity for improvement. ‘Many schools are facing end-of-life announcements and acquisitions of their ECM solutions. As we start to work with many of these schools, it’s been Etrieve’s next generation, mobile-first design and our exclusivity to the education marketplace that is really setting us apart.’
If you are in a similar position as Montana Tech and looking to find solid ground in the midst of the current ECM disruption, we’d love to chat with you about our migration options for existing Nolij customers. Feel free to reach out to us, or take a look at our website for more details about our fully browser-based, education-focused offerings. With the Nolij end-of-life date getting closer, we know that the time to evaluate your migration options is running out – that’s why we’ve worked to create these specialized offerings and ease the burden.
We are looking forward to seeing how Etrieve will impact the lives of the students, staff and families at Montana Tech! Welcome to the next generation of paperless – we are so glad you are here.
