With the weather growing colder and the days shorter, many of us on the Softdocs marketing team are already looking forward to our annual user conference this spring. We simply can’t wait to gather with the Softdocs community in sunny Charleston, South Carolina. The BRIDGE 2020 website is live, invites have been emailed and a call for sessions posted. And the feedback we’re receiving is tremendous! With customer session proposals rolling in, BRIDGE 2020 is really shaping up to be something special and not just because March in Charleston will be much warmer than this week’s forecast.
You see, for us, having Softdocs customers step to the podium and speak of their experiences with our solutions is pretty much one of our favorite things! We love hearing of successes experienced, obstacles overcome, lessons learned and insights gained - and the Softdocs community agrees. It’s a large part of why we love Bridge, and it’s been our focus lately in the Softdocs webinar room.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down with the CIOs of Pepperdine University and the University of Redlands for an executive panel on Evaluating ECM for the Higher Ed Technology Stack. Hosted on the beautiful Pepperdine campus in Malibu, CA, this live discussion covered a number of topics relevant to IT personnel and other thought leaders within higher education. Topics including:
- The evolution of technology within higher education
- The evaluation and prioritization of technology solutions and vendors
- Key challenges and issues facing higher education IT
Recognizing that many senior IT leaders are finding software prioritization more of a challenge as campus technology maps grow more complex, we chose to extend the discussion beyond just those that could attend live, using the Softdocs webinar room. But don’t worry if you missed the broadcast, it’s now available on demand. I hope you’ll give it a listen!
And if you’re looking for more opportunities to learn alongside other Softdocs customers, be sure to visit the Softdocs Community and look into making the trip to Charleston this March for BRIDGE 2020.
