More than leads…Industry conferences and their real appeal

As we look to wrap up 2016 in a little over a month, we will have completed more than 50 tradeshows, industry conferences and client events this year alone. With each event there is a different goal, a different audience and an overall different experience.  Some are brand new to us and others we’ve attended since we came about.

To us conferences are more than setting up a booth, giving away chip clips and aiming to leave with more leads than we arrived with. Conferences are also a time to see familiar faces and spend time with those who we’ve already built a foundation. If you ask your account executive, sales representative or professional service member what their favorite part of attending conferences is, I promise they’d say spending time with our customers.

Whether it be over dinner, at a reception or brief conversation at the booth, I truly enjoy getting to know each Softdocs user I come in contact with. It’s helpful to put a face to a name, especially since we communicate virtually so often. So, whether it’s at a huge industry show like Educause or a smaller regional user groups, next time you’re attending a conference and see the Softdocs name on the vendor list, stop by, say hi and chat with us for a bit! We love to hear from you!
