Looking to provide greater customer service, Florence-Darlington Technical College, a longtime Doc e Serve user, recently selected Softdocs for their enterprise content management, e-forms and workflow needs.
Florence-Darlington Technical College, located in Florence, South Carolina has been using Softdocs’ laser printing solution, Serve, since 2004. Last year the school began to search for a solution to redefine paper-based business processes. After narrowing the field to three vendors, the school ultimately decided on Softdocs.
Beginning this Spring, Etrieve Content and Doc e Fill will be implemented within Student Services, with Finance and Human Resources following closely thereafter.
“Financial Aid is so excited to move forward, they are very enthusiastic about this project,” said Angela Jordan, Florence-Darlington’s Director of Purchasing. “Not only them, but I am seeing even more excited from the HR department. They are most eager to reduce the amount of paper that they have to handle right now, improve their business processes and manage their time more effectively.”
As part of a much larger project for Financial Aid , Florence-Darlington will be implementing its new Softdocs’ applications in tandem with outsourced callcenter support from Greenwood Hall, a provider focused on Higher Education solutions.
Together, both solutions will help provide greater customer support to current and prospective students, as well as ease administrative and operational burdens for college staff.
“Customer service was our driving factor when we considered Softdocs,” said Jordan. “We wanted to be able to better serve our students and internal customers.”
“Florence-Darlington staff have been a pleasure to work with. We’re excited for the opportunity to implement additional solutions across the campus and continuing to shorten processing times by eliminating physical paper,” said Andrew Daniel, Account Manager.
