When a position opens within your institution, whether it’s a new position or replacement hire, the process can be labor-intensive. With SoftApp, our applicant and position tracking solution, you can post job listings, track interview results and close the job listing quickly and easily.

Position Tracking

Your open position can be posted directly to your institution’s website using the Position Request e-form within SoftApp. Applicants will then be able to submit applications and necessary documents directly through the online applicant tracking feature of SoftApp.

Once you're ready to conduct interviews, the Interview Rating e-form creates an electronic document with the results of an applicant's interview. The information derived from this e-form is then populated directly to the Position Recommendation e-form where the top applicants are available for recommendation based on their Interview Rating scores.

The Position Recommendation e-form can then be submitted for approval or archival, which automatically changes the status of your job listing to "closed" or "filled" on your institution's website. In addition, all documents can be automatically filed into your institution's implementation of Doc e Scan, our enterprise content management solution.

Applicant Tracking

When a job listing is posted on your institution's website, applicants register and submit their applications and any related documents required by your institution. Collected information and documents then enter into a workflow process for review.

Once an applicant has submitted all their necessary documents, email requests are automatically sent to their listed references directing them to your institution's website to fill out a recommendation questionnaire. All results are submitted immediately for review and become a part of the electronic review packet.

The Applicant Tracking Report is a single table of a job listing's, applicants and their information, including credentials, test scores and the status of an application (unqualified, interviewed, called back, denied, etc).
