EMMA allows employees to submit clocking actions, review time banks in real-time and request vacation days quickly and easily, without requiring access to a computer. Using PIN codes, swipe cards or biometric thumbprint technology, employees can log in or out of the system using a shared clocking unit, automatically tracking their clocking actions for easy export to Web Time Entry. Supervisors can then review both EMMA and WTE clocking actions within Web Time Entry, creating a single review path regardless of data collection method.
Reporting filters for overtime calculations, shift differentials and collective bargaining agreements can be customized by EMMA customers. Employees can also approve their electronic timesheets directly from the clocking units. EMMA reports include time sessions by employee, location, project, work classification or pay period in detailed or summary views. Datatel customers can also write their own custom reports using Business Objects and other report writers.
